History & Process of CareLINK

In 1997 Churches United proposed that the churches of the Quad Cities work cooperatively with one or more human service agency to form "CareLink", a network system designed to effectively and efficiently link church caring resources and community needs with rent and utility assistance.

Role of Churches United:

• Provide overall coordination of the CareLINK program
• Responsible for funds: receiving contributions from participating churches and reimbursing the Social Service Agency
